The trailer of Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3, featuring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, was unveiled recently. Sharing a glimpse of the trailer on X, formerly known as Twitter, Khan mentioned that the film will be released in theatres on November 12, 2023, in three languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Hashmi, who will play the antagonist Aatish in the film shared a post from Yash Raj Films which stated that "Tiger and Zoya are back to save the country and their family. This time, it's personal."

The film directed by Maneesh Sharma is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai and the fifth instalment in the Yash Raj Film Spy Universe. The music is composed by Pritam, and the cinematography is by Anay Goswamy. "Following the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan, Tiger and Zoya are framed as traitors by a revenge-seeking terrorist named Aatish where they set on a life-threatening crusade to prove their innocence," the film's one-liner reads.

Describing his role fueled by rage, Emraan Hashmi expressly stated, "I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion.”

Hashmi’s presence in Tiger 3 remained a secret until the launch of the trailer. “I was dying to tell people about Tiger 3 but couldn’t. The decision was clear to bring the anti-hero to the spotlight with the trailer of Tiger 3 and I’m happy that people are loving my menacing turn!" the villain said. He mentioned that he jumped at the opportunity for the freedom to create a villain that people will hopefully remember for a long time.

"I am thankful to Maneesh Sharma for being a guide to bring Aatish to life. It was his vision for the character that I was sold on. He helped me craft a character that I am immensely proud of," he added.
