IALI president Pradeep Tandon welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of these awards in fostering both academic achievement and community service. He said, “Today, we celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our young scholars. These students represent the future of our community, and their dedication to both academics and service is an inspiration to us all. I encourage each of them to continue striving for excellence while remembering the importance of giving back.”

Addressing the scholarship recipients directly, he added, “Congratulations on your hard work and commitment. Remember, education is not just about learning, but about making a positive impact on your community and shaping a brighter future. You each have the potential to make a difference. Stay curious, embrace challenges, and remain true to your values. We believe in your ability to succeed, and we are cheering for you every step of the way. The future is yours—go make it extraordinary!"

"This scholarship is more than financial aid—it’s a recognition of your potential to lead and contribute to society. As you grow and succeed, we encourage you to join IALI as members and help take this organization to even greater heights,” he further stated.

The India Association of Long Island (IALI), founded in 1976, is a non-profit organization committed to the promotion of Indian culture, heritage, and education in Long Island and New York.
