The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the official anthem (also known as the theme song) for the upcoming Men's ODI World Cup 2023, which will take place in India from October 5, 2023. Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh appears in the video, and esteemed composer Pritam worked on the song.
The song, titled "Dil Jashn Bole," serves as the perfect emotional fuel to get everyone pumped up for cricket's biggest tournament. It is a beautiful amalgamation of traditional Indian instruments and other influences that captures the emotions of cricket fans around the world.
"Being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is truly an honour,” said Ranveer Singh. “It’s a celebration of the sport we all love.”
Apart from Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and musician Pritam, several other Indian social media influencers like Be YouNick, Flying Beast, Viraj Ghelani, and Dhanashree Verma (cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife) can also be seen in the video.
