ICC Trophy launched in space
The Trophy was launched at a height of 120,000 feet to kick off the Tour, before it descended to land at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.
Prior to the commencement of the ODI 2023 World Cup in India, the International Cricket Council (ICC) launched the Men's Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour on a massive scale, providing fans with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage with the prized trophy.
According to a release, the ICC World Cup Trophy was launched into space at a height of 120,000 feet to kick off the Tour, before it descended to land at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. This was made possible after the trophy was fastened to a specially made stratospheric balloon. Few breathtaking images of the trophy perched on the edge of the Earth's atmosphere were acquired by 4K cameras.
