ideaForge partners with US-based Vantage Robotics

The partnership is expected to accelerate the time to market for advanced UAV solutions for defense and enterprise applications, with a total addressable market of $1 billion.

ideaForge Technology, an Indian unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer, has announced a strategic investment and partnership with Vantage Robotics, a Silicon Valley-based provider of nano and micro unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). 

The partnership aims to enhance ideaForge’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities while strengthening its presence in the North American market.

The collaboration will help scale up the delivery capacity of Vantage Robotics' UAVs and explore joint go-to-market strategies. Vantage Robotics' ground control stations and micro-gimbal camera subsystems will complement ideaForge’s platforms, while ideaForge’s advanced software solutions will enhance Vantage’s drone offerings.

Ankit Mehta, CEO of ideaForge underscored the long-term commitment to building and enabling cutting-edge drone technology. “Commitment to building and enabling cutting-edge drone technology. Vantage Robotics has built an impressive portfolio of nano and micro drones, and together, we will offer next-generation UAV solutions globally that push the boundaries of performance, reliability, and autonomy,” Mehta said. 

“ideaForge’s excellence in drone technology and product development, data intelligence, manufacturing and the leadership position in the Indian marketplace will help us bring our combined portfolio of UAVs to new heights,” said Tobin Fisher, CEO of Vantage Robotics.

ideaForge operates an AS9100:D-certified manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai, producing UAVs for domestic and international markets. As part of the agreement, Vantage Robotics will leverage ideaForge’s manufacturing expertise to expand its market reach.
