India has once again been included in the United Nations (UN) Honour Roll for 2025. This list features countries that pay their UN budget contributions in full and on time within 30 days of receiving the payment request.

According to the United Nations General Assembly,  “37 Member States have paid their regular budget assessments in full within the 30-day due period specified in Financial Regulation 3.5 (by 6 February 2025).”

Every year, the UN General Assembly approves the organization's budget in December. Based on a set assessment scale, each member country is given a payment note in early January. Those who settle their dues promptly earn a place on the Honour Roll.

India has consistently made it to this list, showing its strong commitment to the UN and its values. By making timely payments, India helps maintain the UN’s financial stability and smooth functioning. This also highlights India’s responsible role in global affairs and support for international cooperation.

Featuring on the Honour Roll reflects India’s dedication to global peace, security, and development. It also strengthens India’s reputation as a dependable member of the UN, committed to working towards a better and more stable world.
