Jasdip Jesse Singh, the founder and chairman of Sikhs of America, said that India has set an example for the world as a democracy.
“India has set an example for the world as a democracy with fair and neutral elections. There are 970 million people exercising their democratic rights by voting in such a large country with so many different parties, with so many different candidates. This is no easy task,” he said.
