Sajid Tarar, a Pakistani American businessman and founder of American Muslims for Trump, shared his insights on the evolving relationship between India and the United States. Tarar emphasized the growing strategic ties, crediting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar's diplomatic acumen.

In an interview with New India Abroad he remarked, "When the inauguration was taking place, India was visible in that hall. The reason is that all the important seats were there. Vivek Ramaswamy was there, Kash Patel was there, Harmeet Dhillon was there, Usha Vance was there and Dr. Jaishankar was in the front seat of the President."

He highlighted Dr. Jaishankar's engagements with key U.S. officials, including Secretary Rubio, six other secretaries, the National Security Advisor, and the President of Argentina. "The relationship between India and America has been revised, re-energized, and reactivated. Credit goes to Modi's leadership and Jaishankar's experience. He has done wonderful work for the entire India."

On the subject of Donald Trump's recent return to the presidency, Tarar expressed unwavering confidence in the new leadership. "Mr. Donald Trump is very confident. His spirit is high. The whole country gave him full support. He entered the White House with a huge mandate. After eight years of the Obama period and four years of the Biden administration, the socialist agenda, woke culture, and overspending had taken a toll. But now, not only America is celebrating, the whole world is celebrating," he remarked.

Tarar pointed out Trump's emphasis on restoring America's leadership on the global stage. "Trump has said, 'I will be the peacemaker and I will unite the world rather than divide them.' The weak foreign policy under Obama and Biden allowed leaders like Xi Jinping and Putin to take advantage. That time is over.”

He stressed that there is a certain “The Trump effect” that can already be seen in Gaza, Ukraine, the Panama Canal, Mexico, and Canada. “Bureaucracy and the deep state are in fear, and many officials have been removed or put on leave. This is the start of America's golden period" he said.

Discussing Trump's South Asia policy, Tarar mentioned that Pakistan is not currently on the administration's radar. However, Trump has been vocal about Afghanistan. "He criticized the Biden administration for giving billions of dollars to Afghanistan without any return. He highlighted the expensive U.S. military equipment now in the hands of the Taliban, including 2,500 Humvees, numerous missiles, and over 66 Black Hawk helicopters. Trump has vowed to take back this equipment."

Regarding China, Tarar said, "The biggest sign was that the foreign ministers of the Quad were called and the first line was set. That's a huge signal to China that we are together, we stand behind Taiwan, and we stand with India. Whenever a Republican is in the White House, the relationship with Pakistan improves because of its strategic location, bordering Iran, Afghanistan, China, and India. Pakistan's demographic cannot be ignored."

Tarar dismissed media narratives about anti-Muslim rhetoric surrounding Trump. "The leftist media, like CNN, thrives on anti-Trump propaganda. But this time, Donald Trump has significant support from Muslim communities, especially in cities like Detroit and Michigan. He acknowledged our organization, American Muslims for Trump, in his speeches. Muslim Americans, particularly due to his stance on Gaza, are rallying behind him."

When asked about Trump's vision for the so-called golden age, Tarar outlined ambitious plans. "Trump intends to push Russia and China back. America's infrastructure has been neglected for 35 years. No new airports, no new highways. In Los Angeles, Americans couldn't even extinguish a fire without Canadian and Mexican help.

He added, “Trump is determined to rebuild America. The Monroe Doctrine must be restored; China has taken over strategic points like the Panama Canal. That will change. America will become energy independent, inflation will be reduced, manufacturing and innovation will thrive. Over 500 billion dollars will be invested in artificial intelligence projects."

He concluded, "The golden period of America is here. Trump is determined to make America great again, reclaiming its position as the sole superpower on the planet."
