India responds to Iran-Pakistan conflict
India held an anti-terrorist stance in Pakistan-Iran escalation.

India took a cautious stance on the recent Pakistan-Iran escalation, emphasizing its unwavering commitment to zero tolerance for terrorism. New Delhi affirmed its position based on the necessity for countries to act in self-defense.
The comments come after Iran conducted a series of missile and drone strikes in Pakistan's Balochistan province, claiming that it had targeted the Iranian Baloch militant group Jaish ul-Adl.
"This is a matter between Iran and Pakistan. Insofar as India is concerned, we have an uncompromising position of zero tolerance towards terrorism. We understand actions that countries take in their self-defense,” India's official spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, noted in an official statement.
Calling the attack an"unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran,” the Pakistani Foreign Office reported that casualties included two children with three girls being injured. Pakistan launched missile strikes into Iran, that resulted in the killing of nine people, in retaliation to the strikes.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, H. Amirabdollahian, held a meeting with Jalil Abbas Jilani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
During the conversation, Amirabdollahian said that the ministers pointed out the importance of continued cooperation and close communication between both countries. “I emphasized the respect of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the brotherly and neighboring country of Pakistan.”
