India to showcase premium blends at Coffee Fest NY

This initiative aligns with India's "One District One Product" (ODOP) program, which aims to promote unique products from various districts.

The Consulate General of India in New York is set to showcase some of India's finest coffee and tea blends at the upcoming Coffee Fest New York 2025. 

The event will be held from March 23 to 25 at the Javits Center, with the India Pavilion located at Booth No. 2507.

Among the highlighted products is the award-winning Araku Coffee from Andhra Pradesh. Cultivated organically by tribal farmers in the Araku Valley, this coffee has gained international recognition, including a gold medal at the Prix Epicures OR 2018 in Paris, making it the first Indian coffee to receive such an honor.

Premium coffee from Chikmagalur by Cravium Gourmet (Coffeeza), a brand known for its high-quality beans sourced from one of India's oldest coffee-growing regions will also be showcased. Additionally, attendees can experience a selection of Indian teas, including Masala Chai Mixes by Kolkata Chai Co. and Mukhwas Tea by Radhika's Fine Teas and Whatnots, offering a taste of India's rich tea heritage.



This initiative aligns with India's "One District One Product" (ODOP) program, which aims to promote unique products from various districts. Notably, Araku Coffee was honored with the ODOP award in 2023, recognizing its exceptional quality and contribution to the local economy.

Coffee Fest New York 2025 serves as a platform for coffee and tea professionals to network, discover new products, and attend educational sessions. The event will feature various workshops and seminars, including the "Learning CQI Flavor Standards" class on March 22, designed for both professionals and enthusiasts aiming to enhance their flavor profiling skills.
