Indian-American cardiologist bags 2021 HFSA lifetime achievement award
Anand returned to India in 1976 and began working at the PGI. He moved to Minneapolis in 1991 as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Heart Failure Program at the VA Medical Centre. He remained there till his retirement in 2015.
