Indian American Dhruvi Patel crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024

Dhruvi, who aspires to be a Bollywood actor and UNICEF Ambassador, now takes her place among the global ambassadors of Indian culture.

Dhruvi Patel, a computer information systems student from the USA, has been declared the winner of Miss India Worldwide 2024, the longest-running Indian pageant outside of India. 

The 31st edition of the pageant was organized by the New York-based India Festival Committee, led by Neelam and Dharmatma Saran. 

Upon winning the coveted crown, Dhruvi shared her excitement and aspirations, "Winning Miss India Worldwide is such an incredible honor. It's more than a crown – it represents my heritage, my values, and the opportunity to inspire others on a global scale." 

Dhruvi, who aspires to be a Bollywood actor and UNICEF Ambassador, now takes her place among the global ambassadors of Indian culture. The competition saw Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname named as the first runner-up, while Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands was declared the second runner-up.

In the Mrs. category, SuAnn Mouttet from Trinidad and Tobago claimed the title, with Sneha Nambiar as the first runner-up and Pawandip Kaur from the United Kingdom as the second runner-up.

The Teen category saw Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe crowned as Miss Teen India Worldwide, followed by Shreya Singh from the Netherlands as the first runner-up and Shradha Tedjoe from Suriname as the second runner-up.

Dharmatma Saran, chairman and founder of the India Festival Committee, expressed gratitude to the Indian community for their ongoing support, "We thank the Indian diaspora around the world for their cooperation and support over the years, making this pageant a truly global celebration of Indian culture."

As one of the top ethnic pageants worldwide, Miss India Worldwide is dedicated to providing a platform for young women of Indian origin to showcase their talent, culture, and values on an international stage.
