Indian American lawmakers extend Christmas wishes

Indian American lawmakers marked the holiday season by sharing heartfelt Christmas wishes on social media, extending their greetings to their constituents and communities across the United States.

Representative Ro Khanna, who serves California's 17th Congressional District, wrote on X, “Wishing everyone in CA-17 and across the country a merry Christmas. I hope you have a peaceful holiday. While we celebrate the holiday season, we must also thank our service members and their families for sacrificing so much during this time of the year to protect us.”
 



Representative Pramila Jayapal, representing Washington's 7th shared season's greetings, "Merry Christmas! Sending love, comfort, and joy to all — today and always," she posted.



Representative Shri Thanedar of Michigan's 13th Congressional District posted, “Wishing a very Merry Christmas to those celebrating in #MI13! May your celebrations be filled with warmth, joy, and time with loved ones,” he wrote.



Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi, serving Illinois' 8th Congressional District, extended a message of peace and togetherness. “Merry Christmas! I hope everyone celebrating is able to spend time with friends, family, and loved ones on this joyful and peaceful day,” he wrote.



In the United States, Christmas is widely celebrated with festive decorations, family gatherings, and community events.
