Indian American seniors of Chicago celebrate Christmas

The Senior Friendship Group Chicago recently organized a Christmas Party to extend season’s greetings with the community. The event that began with prayers, featured delicious treats, and a variety of performances.
President Harshad Patel extended Christmas and New Year to all attendees, including special guest Jayesh Parekh. The special guest was also honored by the organizers. Sunil Shah, FIA founder president and chairman also attended the event.
Dinesh Thakkar, Meena Patel, and others celebrated December birthdays at the event by cutting a cake and dancing to the birthday song. The festivities continued with a Gujarati garba, and a delicious Punjabi feast.
Jigar Kiritbhai Shah used the occasion to promote Sahara Home Care by informing everyone about his presentation and giving out free water bottles and other goodies to everyone who attended. “This innovative and memorable event marked a unique moment in the senior group's history,” a release stated.
