Dr. S. Jaishankar’s visit from Dec.24 to Dec.29 is expected to further strengthen US-India relations. During this visit, he will meet with his American counterparts to discuss key bilateral, regional, and global issues. This visit is particularly significant as it marks the first high-level diplomatic engagement between India and the U.S. following Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election, setting the stage for the development of US-India relations under his second term.
This diplomatic exchange is seen as a key step in deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations, with a focus on addressing shared challenges and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
