InsurTech Hartford presents Influencer Award to Bobbie Shrivastav

Indian American executive Bobbie Shrivastav has been recognized with the Influencer Award by InsurTech Hartford.

 

The award acknowledges individuals who are making waves in insurance innovation and have made a positive impact on the industry, according to an official statement.

Shrivastav is the co-founder and chief product officer of the software company Benekiva, where she leads the product development, customer care, and delivery of transformational technology solutions to help modernize the insurance industry.

She has played an instrumental role in Benekiva’s evolution to become the only technology solution on the market that delivers straight-through, next-generation claims and policy servicing transformations, with asset retention enablement.

Prior to Benekiva, Shrivastav held senior leadership roles with organizations such as Pepsicoand AON.  She is passionate about helping organizations modernize legacy processes through digital disruption, re-engineering, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Shrivastav earned her MBA from Wake Forest University, a master’s degree in project management from Western Carolina University, and a bachelor’s degree in information systems and marketing from Appalachian State University. She is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, author, speaker, technology innovator, and digital transformation expert.

The ‘Making Waves’ awards will be presented during the InsurTech Hartford symposium, scheduled to take place between April 17-18. It is expected to attract hundreds of professionals from across the world, including representatives from over 100 different carriers and 50 startups, the statement added.
