Integrity Marketing Group, a prominent distributor of life and health insurance, as well as a provider of wealth management and retirement planning solutions, recently organized a Diwali celebration. The event aimed to bring together the Integrity employee family and the broader Dallas community to commemorate Diwali, the festival of lights.
An assortment of traditional Indian cuisine, dance performances by the Vanshika Vaghashia Dance group from Dallas, and a henna booth staffed by local artists Mosami Gajera and Rutvika Pradip Savani were all featured at the Diwali celebration organized under the direction of chief technology officer Harsh Singla. The event also included the ceremonial lighting of candles.
Integrity employs a significant number of individuals of Indian heritage, as Texas is home to the second-largest American-Indian population among U.S. states. The company has several hundred such employees, with over 100 based at its Dallas headquarters alone, constituting at least 25 percent of the Dallas-based workforce.
Born in Punjab, India, Singla immigrated to Dallas in 2015 and obtained U.S. citizenship in 2022. “Our annual Diwali celebration at Integrity is very emotional for me as it reminds me of the treasured traditions I celebrated growing up in India. Being able to now celebrate such an important holiday in Dallas with my Integrity family shows how much our leadership team respects and values our culture. Celebrating Diwali together deeply connects our co-workers from various departments and fosters understanding. It is amazing to work for a company that not only supports diversity, but embraces it completely,” he said.
