Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has become the only Indian film to be nominated for the ASTRA Awards 2024 under the best international feature film category, Hollywood Creative Alliance (HCA) announced in a social media post.

The Atlee Kumar-directed film will compete against films such as Anatomy of a Fall, Concrete Utopia, Fallen Leaves, Perfect Days, Radical, Society of the Snow, The Taste of Things, The Teacher's Lounge, and The Zone of Interest in the category.
Jawan, the highest grossing Hindi film of 2023, has featured stars such as Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. It was produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the Red Chillies Entertainment.
Earlier in 2023, S S Rajamouli's Telugu film RRR bagged five accolades at the HCA Film Awards under categories such as best international film, best action film, best stunts, best song and the HCA spotlight.
The organization, formerly known as the Hollywood Critics Association, announced the list of nominations on December 7, 2023, among which Greta Gerwig's Barbie and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer have bagged a total of fifteen and fourteen nominations under various categories.
Winners of the 2024 Astra Film Awards will be revealed during the live-streamed event, which will be broadcast globally from the historic Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
