Princeton University announced that author and award-winning podcaster Jay Shetty will deliver the keynote address at the Class Day ceremony for the Class of 2025.

Shetty, host of the acclaimed mental health podcast “On Purpose,” was chosen for his focus on well-being, meaningful relationships, and personal growth.
“Before we step into the world, it will be nice to hear from somebody who can help us better understand ourselves but also how to connect with the people around us,” said Class of 2025 president Ben Wachspress in a video announcement.
Shetty, a graduate of Bayes Business School in London, spent three years as a Hindu monk in India and the United Kingdom. He later launched his public platform in 2016 with a viral video channel and has since become a global voice in wellness and self-improvement.
His podcast, which regularly features interviews with leaders in politics, the arts, and sports, ranks among the top shows on Spotify and Apple. His books, Think Like a Monk and 8 Rules of Love, are both New York Times bestsellers.
Shetty also serves as an officer at the meditation app Calm and has been recognized by Forbes, People, Adweek and The Hollywood Reporter.
