NY-based Jean Martin Inc. (JMI), a global technology, research, and analytics firm, has announced the appointment of cybersecurity expert M.J. Vaidya as a board member. The strategic move is aimed at strengthening the company's leadership in cybersecurity and risk management.
Vaidya brings over 30 years of experience in assisting global companies with navigating the complexities of digital security and risk management. He has held leadership roles as chief information officer (CIO) and chief information security officer (CISO) at Fortune 500 companies such as Abbott and General Motors, and consulted forn leading professional services firms including EY, Deloitte, and PwC.
Reacting to his appointment, Vaidya said, "I am excited to join JMI and look forward to leveraging the company's robust technology frameworks to spearhead strategic initiatives in Cybersecurity and Risk Management,” he stated.

He also serves as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he teaches courses on cybersecurity strategy, responsible AI, and cyber risk management. Vaidya holds an MBA from St. John's University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from New York University. He has earned numerous certifications and affiliations, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a leadership and management certificate from Harvard.
