Indian American community leader Kartik Bhatt has been appointed deputy political director of the Veterans for America First (VFAF) Georgia state chapter, the organization announced.
As part of the relaunch of its state chapter program, VFAF Georgia will focus on grassroots political engagement and strengthening ties between law enforcement and local communities. Bhatt will lead the chapter’s law enforcement community engagement operations, to meet all Georgia police chiefs and County Sheriffs by 2026.
An active advocate in political and community affairs, Bhatt serves as an honorary Sheriff’s Deputy, a National Representative for Indians for Trump, and a member of the Trump campaign’s Hindu Coalition.
Bhatt has also worked for 10 years as Animal Control Officer with the Cobb County Department of Public Safety and was appointed to the Georgia Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analyst by Governor Kemp.
Commenting on the new role, he said, “It's my honor and privilege to work with Veterans for America First. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity.”
Bhatt’s appointment is part of VFAF Georgia’s broader strategy to address critical issues, including law enforcement relationships and immigration policy, while advancing the organization’s grassroots agenda across the state.
