Madhya Pradesh chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who was present at the event, also played an antique Nagara instrument. He congratulated the dancers and dance gurus from several state cities for setting the record.
Moreover, Yadav made history by announcing the opening of the nation's first Gurukul in Khajuraho, which will train people in tribal and indigenous arts. He said that senior gurus at the Gurukul will train in traditional arts of tribal and rural people, including crafts, dancing, singing, playing, painting, and oral literature. The design of the gurukul would safeguard ancient knowledge systems and skills while promoting their holistic growth in rural living.
