KidsBridge honors Falguni Pandya for humanitarian work

Falguni Pandya, an advocate for interfaith understanding and community service, recently received KidsBridge's humanitarian award. KidsBridge is an organization dedicated to fostering empathy and combating discrimination among young people. It focuses on empowering the next generation to challenge racism, bias, bullying, and other forms of discrimination.
The award recognized her contributions to fostering empathy and combating discrimination among young people through her work with the Hindu Jewish Coalition, which focuses on promoting dialogue, understanding, and cooperation between Hindu and Jewish communities.
Through educational programs, interfaith collaborations, and cultural exchanges,the coalition has addressed global challenges such as antisemitism, religious intolerance, and bigotry.Pandya’s commitment to bridging cultural divides and promoting shared values aligns closely with the Hindu principle of Vasudaiva Kutumbakam, which translates to "the world is one family."
Pandya's dedication and passion have played a pivotal role in the coalition's success in fostering mutual respect and solidarity across different faiths and cultures.Her efforts have been instrumental in creating a more inclusive and harmonious society, a release stated.
In her acceptance speech, Pandya expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of collective action in overcoming prejudice and fostering understanding. She credited Marc Citron, a fellow honoree and founding member of the Hindu Jewish Coalition, for his visionary leadership and inspiration. Pandya also highlighted the crucial role of educating the youth in driving long-term, meaningful change.
