Lexitas, a leading provider of technology-enabled litigation services, has appointed Indian American finance executive Sriram ('Sri’) Venkateswaran as its chief financial officer (CFO).
Before joining the Indianapolis-based company, Venkateswaran served as the CFO at Everise, a $450 million revenue business process outsourcing services provider. He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial performance and leading the end-to-end finance functions.
At Eversise, he aisi ensured the integrity of internal and external reporting while championing best-in-class FP&A practices and reporting dashboards. Additionally, he spearheaded process transformation initiatives and collaborated closely with the board, investors, and lenders on the company's business plan, performance, and risks.
Before joining Everise, Venkateswaran held the position of CFO for APAC and Japan at Assurant Inc., where he was responsible for leading the overall financial strategy for the region. He also spent eight years at Cognizant, where he progressed to the role of CFO for their BPO segment. In this capacity, he oversaw a $2.5 billion revenue business with 70,000 employees across 30 countries.
His earlier career encompassed senior finance-focused roles within the financial service industry, including positions at Citigroup and AIG. Venkateswaran holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and is an alumnus of The Wharton School.
