Kerala-based jewelry retailer, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, has officially opened its US flagship showroom in Los Angeles, marking its fifth location in the United States.
The 6,500-square-foot showroom, located in Artesia City, California, offers over 30,000 designs from 20 countries and features 25 exclusive brands, further establishing Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ presence in North America. The inauguration was led by California Congresswoman Michelle Steele, alongside Malabar Group chairman MP Ahammed, vice chairman KP Abdul Salam, and other senior management members.
Ahammed emphasized the importance of the Los Angeles location, stating, "Our flagship showroom in Los Angeles highlights our dedication to providing an unparalleled jewelry shopping experience. North America plays a vital role in our growth strategy, and we are excited to open 20 new showrooms globally this October."
As part of its promotional campaign, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is offering guaranteed gold coins to customers who purchase diamond and precious gem jewelry, an offer valid until Nov. 3.
In addition to the Los Angeles location, Malabar Gold & Diamonds plans to expand across North America, with a sixth showroom set to open in Atlanta, Georgia, and further expansion targeting cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, and New York. The company is also broadening its presence in Canada, with new showrooms planned for British Columbia and Alberta.
Globally, 13 new showrooms will be launched in countries including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and India, complementing the seven already opened this month. Malabar Gold & Diamonds currently operates more than 360 showrooms across 13 countries.
With an annual turnover of US$ 6.2 billion, Malabar Gold & Diamonds ranks as the sixth-largest jewelry retailer in the world, continuing its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, including education, housing, and women’s empowerment.
