India's Ministry of External Affairs has appointed Manish Prabhat as the next Ambassador of India to Denmark. He currently holds the position of Ambassador of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The ministry issued a statement, naming Manish Prabhat as the next Ambassador of India to Denmark. He is expected to take up the role shortly.
Prior to his current role, Prabhat served as the head of the Eurasia Division at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
Prabhat has an extensive diplomatic background, having served in various Indian Missions abroad, including Moscow, Yerevan, Washington DC, Milan, and Paris. He joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) in 1996.
Prabhat holds a master's degree in history from the University of Delhi.
In additional appointments, Raveesh Kumar has been designated as the next Ambassador to the Czech Republic. Vidhu P Nair will serve as the next Ambassador to Angola, while Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat has been appointed as the next Ambassador to Turkmenistan.
