The upcoming 2023 survival thriller drama film 'Joram,' starring Indian actor Manoj Bajpayee, is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 8. The film has already garnered appreciation at the Chicago International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, and many more.
In "Joram," Bajpayee plays a destitute man who takes his infant daughter on a harrowing journey. Fleeing a relentless system, a cop and their paths intersect with a mother seeking vengeance. The trio navigates a brutal landscape of devastated forests, blind greed, rebellion, and the bloody aftershocks from the deat-gripping developments.
Tannishtha Chatterjee, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Smita Tambe, and others are among those featured in the cast. With Devashish Makhija at the helm, the film marks his third collaboarationwith Bajpayee following the 2016 short film ‘Taandav’ and the 2018 dark drama ‘Bhonsle.’
The film has high expectations due to the success of the two preceding films and Bajpayee's method acting, which has garnered him countless awards and recognition as one of the most skilled artists in the industry. Apart from receiving three National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards, and two Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Bajpayee was honoured with the Padma Shri in 2019 for his outstanding contributions to art.
