Marathi culture, language, and identity beats strong in America
Community members gathered for a four-day festival in California, where Marathi reigned supreme.

Over 5,000 people gathered together to celebrate and share their common heritage. For four days, from June.27 to June.30, at the San Jose Convention Center in California, Marathi reigned supreme. The convener Prakash Bhalerao and his team had their work cut out for him.
Myriad threads had to be pulled together to enthuse the community and showcase the best in the culture over the four-day festival. Marathi dance, drama, food, business, and values were on display. Programs attractive to the youth and senior citizens were planned.
