The McDonald's APIA Scholarship application deadline has been extended to January 21, 2025, providing students with additional time to submit their applications.

Initially set to close on Jan. 15, the deadline was extended to support those affected by the recent fires and power outages in the Los Angeles area.

This scholarship program, in partnership with Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) Scholars, supports students based on academic excellence, community involvement, and financial need. More than half of the scholarship recipients come from underrepresented communities, providing them with expanded access to higher education.

“The McDonald’s/APIA scholarship allowed me to attend college and pursue my passions. From establishing various scholarship funds for underserved communities to curating my own college resources hub on social media, this scholarship inspired me to begin using my story to help those who come from similar backgrounds,” a 2020 McDonald’s/APIA Scholar and junior at University of Chicago said.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year of McDonald's partnership with APIA Scholars, continuing to empower students with financial support. With the deadline extension to January 21, students are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to further their academic journey and receive the financial support they need to succeed.
