‘My soul is united with my city,’ says Fremont mayoral candidate Raj Salwan

FREMONT, California — Longtime city councilman Raj Salwan has thrown his hat in the ring for Fremont’s mayoral race.
“Fremont needs bold and experienced leadership to address the many challenging facing us,” Salwan told New India Abroad in a May.9 interview.
“We've got so many issues right now: homelessness, public safety, the lack of affordable housing, the cost of living. We need someone that's experienced to take on those issues.”
