India’s ace Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra finished on top at the Lausanne Diamond League competition held on June 30, with an impressive throw of 87.66 metres in his fifth attempt. The recent win comes after his Doha Diamond League triumph last month.
In Doha, the Olympic Gold Medalist secured first place with a throw of 88.67m. Since the Doha event, he missed the FBK Games and Paavo Nurmi Games owing to an injury as a result the Lausanne Diamond league was his comeback into competition.
