Women We Admire has unveiled its list of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Connecticut for 2024. Neesha Mathur, executive director at Novartis, is the only woman of Indian origin featured on the list.

Mathur is a distinguished senior digital strategist, marketer, and product leader known for her commitment to lifelong learning. She is particularly skilled at constructing robust strategies and translating them into actionable roadmaps for successful market implementation.

Her approach blends strategic thinking with a focus on execution, embodying the qualities of a strategist with an orientation toward successful implementation and a winning mindset. Mathur's innovative mindset and contributions received further recognition in 2016 when she was honored as one of LIMRA's Top 25 Rising Stars in Innovation under the age of 40.

Notably, her work in reconstructing a lead generation and scoring model brought about a significant transformation in her marketing team's approach to campaigns, programs, and marketing automation. This initiative resulted in substantial cost savings, hundreds of saved work hours, the reallocation of 2.5 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) to more effective deployment, increased customer satisfaction, and a remarkable 10x rise in lead conversion.

In 2019, InsuranceNexus recognized Mathur as their North American Customer Ambassador of the Year for her contributions to applying behavioral science. Her work is pivotal in driving a transformative shift, commencing with customer journey and behavior mapping, progressing to the formulation of learning agendas and hypotheses, and developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).

She worked toward establishing clear and actionable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conducting in-market experiments that yield rapid, implementable results, resulting in double- and triple-digit Return on Investment (ROI).

Mathur goes beyond conceptualization, turning innovation, customer value, and improved outcomes into tangible reality, Women We Admire noted in a press release.
