The Center for New American Security’s Indo-Pacific Security Program launched a new initiative on Oct. 29 to strengthen U.S.-India relations, supported by Asha Jadeja of the Motwani Jadeja Family Foundation. The foundation invests in empowering young entrepreneurs in India and globally through fellowships, investments, and partnerships.
The initiative will include workshops on defense cooperation, technology partnerships, supply chain resilience, and the future of the Quad alliance.
Thrilled to be launching my second US-India initiative in Washington DC at CNAS - Center for New American Security, a think tank founded by Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell almost 15 years ago. My first initiative was launched at Hudson Institute. https://t.co/xUPEtyXqaD

The workshops will unite experts, government officials, industry leaders, and new voices to explore ways to enhance military cooperation—focusing on defense innovation, undersea operations, intelligence sharing, and joint naval exercises. They will also strengthen technology partnerships in semiconductors, space, and artificial intelligence; address challenges in diversifying supply chains; and deepen collaboration within the Quad to tackle emerging security threats.
According to Lisa Curtis, director of CNAS’s Indo-Pacific Security Program, the U.S.-India relationship is at a significant juncture. She highlighted that the workshops will reinforce collaboration in defense, technology, and supply chains, which are essential to this strategic alliance.
