Nikki Haley has gained stronger ground in the state of New Hampshire in a survey conducted by the American Research Group (ARG) between December 27 to Jan 3, 2024, compared to her performance in the state from the survey in early December.
The recent poll found Haley polling at 33 percent among likely GOP primary voters in the Granite State. She is up by 4 points from the poll conducted by ARG.
Former President Donald Trump also made gains in the state, weeks ahead of the First in the Nation Primary (FINP) scheduled in New Hampshire on January 23, 2024. He is now polling at 37 percent compared to his prior performance where he polled at 33 per lcent among likely GOP voters earlier in December.
Trump attacked his opponent Haley on Truth Social in December after the ARG poll showed that the gap between their performance was closing in significantly. The former president dismissed the poll as “fake” and “just another scam!” for glorifying his “birdbrain” opponent. Trump concluded his post with “real poll to follow.”
The ARG poll featured 600 interviews of likely primary voters in New Hampshire, and has a margin of error of 4 percentage points. The results came on the heels of Haley stirring up controversy by excluding slavery as a cause of Civil War during a town hall
