With Election Day approaching, Indian Americans Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy, prominent figures in the Republican Party, have reaffirmed their support for Donald Trump, calling him the leader the country needs.
Vivek Ramaswamy, who ended his 2024 presidential bid earlier this year, urged voters to rally behind Trump, asserting that he is really the only choice for President. “If you want to seal the border, restore law and order, grow the economy, revive national pride, avoid World War III, and make America great again—there’s only one choice: VOTE TRUMP,” Ramaswamy said.
He also described Trump as the "commander-in-chief who will lead us to victory" and emphasized the need for leadership that will address the nation’s key challenges.

Nikki Haley, Trump’s former U.N. ambassador and a previous 2024 GOP contender, echoed similar sentiments in a recent op-ed for the Wall Street Journal. Titled “Trump Isn’t Perfect, but He’s the Better Choice,” Haley’s op-ed highlighted Trump's track record while warning against a potential Harris presidency.

“I don’t agree with Mr. Trump 100 percent of the time,” Haley wrote. “But I do agree with him most of the time, and I disagree with Ms. Harris nearly all the time. That makes this an easy call.”
Haley, who served under Trump from 2017 to 2018, warned that the Biden-Harris administration has made the world "far more dangerous" and pointed to foreign policy failures such as Afghanistan and Iran. She predicted that while a second Trump term "wouldn’t be perfect," it would prioritize tax cuts, energy independence, and restoring America’s global standing.
