A screening of Vivek Agnihotri's latest film, The Vaccine War, was presented at the AMC 25 theater in New York City's iconic global cultural hub, Time Square, before its official release. The event attracted a huge crowd comprising of doctors ,nurses , scientists , businessmen , students, film makers ,technocrats , teachers, realtors, journalists, and politicians.
Thousands of New Yorkers from all walks of life came out to see the mesmerizing dances composed by legendary kathak maestro Archana Joglekar and performed by the students of her dance academy. The highlight wasd the performance of Rig Veda's Nasadiya Sukta, which portrays the science of how the Universe was created from the film.
American finance lawyer and current chairman of the New York Republican State Committee Edward Ridley Finch Cox attended both events in Time Square and later reflected on how he had only recently come to appreciate India's power and diversity and the significance of Indian Americans in the United States. He urged all Americans to watch ‘The Vaccine War.’
Software executive and philanthropist Mohan Wanchoo hosted 'The Vaccine War' events in New York. Wanchoo credited Al Mason, a prominent New York-based real estate investment advisor and entrepreneur, with assisting him in the enormous success of both of the New York events.
Produced by the three time national award winning actress Pallavi Joshi and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the film is slated for release all over the world on Sept 28, 2023. For the unversed, the couple’s last film 'The Kashmir Files' was one of the highest grossing Indian film in the year 2022.
The Vaccine War will tell the inspiring story of the victory of the scientists and 130 crore people who fought the battle during the Covid-19 era. It stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, Pallavi Joshi and Sapthami Gowda in key roles.
