The schedule has been released for the ninth ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will take place from June 1–29, 2024, and be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies.
As per the tournament schedule, the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match is scheduled to occur on June 9 at Eisenhower Park in New York. India's four group matches are scheduled to take place in Florida and New York, respectively. On June 8 in Barbados, defending champions England will play Australia.

A record 20 teams will compete in 55 games in the ICC Men's T20 event to determine who will be crowned the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Champions.
The 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five, with the top two teams progressing to the Super Eights. Group A includes India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the USA. Group B Includes England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman. Group C includes New Zealand, the West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda and Papua New Guinea, and Group D consists of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands and Nepal.
With the schedule commencing on Saturday, June 1, the USA will play Canada in the tournament's first match at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas. On Sunday, June 2, the West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in the Guyana National Stadium to begin their campaign. The semi-finals are scheduled for June 26 in Guyana and June 27 in Trinidad.
During the group stage, Group A's teams will be based exclusively in the USA, while Group B and C will play their games in the West Indies. The teams in Group D are the only ones whose matches are divided between the USA and the West Indies. Besides India's match against Pakistan on June 9, they also play Ireland on June 5, USA on June 12, and Canada on June 15.
The Super 8 round will take place in the West Indies from June 19 to 24, with the group stage taking place from June 1 to June 18. Thereafter, the top two teams from each Super 8 group advance to the semifinals.
After defeating Pakistan in the Melbourne final of the 2022 T20 World Cup, England is the reigning champion. At the Men's T20 World Cup, Canada, the United States, and Uganda will compete for the first time.
