Local singer Pankaj Shah and his wife Mona Shah are set to host ‘Savera’, a special musical evening, on May. 3.
The musical evening will help raise funds for Snehalaya, a non-profit organization, to combat inequality, cruelty, and discrimination against women and children. Snehalaya is based in Ahmednagar, India.
The event will be held at the Keefe Regional Tech auditorium in Framingham, MA.
Pankaj Shah, who is also the co-producer of the event, expressed his dedication to the cause, saying that the resilience of those affected by these issues is extraordinary. He said that even the most vulnerable individuals can thrive with a sense of belonging and compassion.
The event will feature six prominent singers – Meena Sundaram, Shraddha Agrawal, Sharanya Sarkar Verma, Raghu Saranathan, Sankar Gangaikondan, and Vijay Kumar.
‘Savera’ will also feature special poetry renditions by Maneesh Srivastava and Ali Rizvi, emceeing by Siraj Khan, Swathi Subramanian, Ajay Jain and Sonal Yadav. Child artists Neera Verma, Romy Prabhugaonkar, Shweta, Jeet Shangari, Sudha and Ravi Sarin will also grace the stage with their performances.
Ticket prices for the musical evening range from $25 to $100.
