P.F. Chang's names Sonika Patel as chief marketing officer

In her new position, Patel will oversee global marketing strategies to foster brand loyalty, drive customer engagement, and reinforce P.F. Chang’s market presence.

American Chinese cuisine restaurant chain, P.F. Chang's, announced the appointment of Sonika Patel as its new chief marketing officer. Patel will lead global brand and digital marketing strategies, reporting directly to CEO Eduardo Luz, the firm said in a statement.

Patel brings extensive experience to her new role, having previously served as senior vice president and head of marketing for Ticketmaster North America where she oversaw marketing efforts across sports, music, and entertainment, including campaigns for major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, and NHL. She also managed product campaigns for partners like TikTok, Apple, and Snapchat. 

Her career includes leadership positions at PepsiCo and Activia, where she demonstrated a strong understanding of consumer behavior and brand positioning. Notably, at PepsiCo, she spearheaded the repositioning of the Pepsi brand, launching the "Pepsi, For the Love of It" campaign.

Founded in 1993, P.F. Chang's operates more than 300 restaurants across 22 countries. The company is known for its authentic Asian cuisine, rooted in a 2,000-year-old tradition of wok cooking.
