Photo feature: Tehri Dam; new attraction for many adventure seekers in India
Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Tehri Lake is the largest man-made lake in entire Asia and spread over an area of 42 sq. km, with a depth of 200 m. The USD 1 billion Tehri hydroelectric power complex uses water from this huge reservior to produce 2400 MW electricity.
