Piyush Mishra, an Indian artist known for his contributions to theatre, film, and music, will come to America for his Aarambh 2.0, a multi-state tour in the USA. The event, hosted by Ballimaaraan, will be a fusion of music, poetry, and drama.
“Ballimaaraan: The Piyush Mishra Project” is a musical collective that defies traditional genre boundaries and time constraints, weaving together a unique auditory experience. Mishra’s ensemble has evocative narratives, diverse musical compositions, and spellbinding live presentations. With a fusion of innovative sounds and profound storytelling, Ballimaaraan dabbles in the landscape of contemporary music and performance arts.
The tour will kick off on January 28, 2024, in Washington, followed by multiple stops across various cities, including Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, San Jose, Dallas, and New Jersey with more cities going to be added soon. Mishra's performances are known for their rich poetic content, resonating deeply with audiences of all backgrounds.
Born in Gwalior he completed his graduation from the National School of Drama in Delhi in 1986. Mishra mostly ventures into the world of Hindi cinema, leaving an indelible mark with his acting in notable films like Maqbool (2003) and Gangs of Wasseypur (2012).
He is renowned for his impactful lyrics and melodious renditions, some of his works including "Arre Ruk Ja Re Bandeh" from Black Friday (2)
