PlanHub, a prominent player in preconstruction technology solutions, has promoted Sid Nair as its new chief technology officer (CTO). He will continue to lead the product domain and oversee the strategic direction and innovation of PlanHub's technology initiatives.

Nair has been with PlanHub for a year as vice president of product. He was promoted to the new role after exhibiting outstanding leadership, vision, and a profound understanding of PlanHub's commercial landscape, a company release stated.

"At PlanHub, we are bold, talented, and on a mission to build great products that help contractors, owners, architects, and suppliers connect and collaborate. We won't rest until we simplify preconstruction for everyone,” said Nair, outlining his vision for the company.

"The entire PlanHub team is enthusiastic about the expertise and visionary perspectives Sid brings to the company. The construction tech industry is ripe for change, and we are well-positioned to drive that change with Sid's leadership," said Ro Bhatia, CEO of PlanHub.

After joining the company, Nair brought technical and strategic expertise from his two-decade career in various industrial and SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses. He has worked in leading areas, including Big Data, IoT (Internet of Things), and AI-driven applications.

He has held significant roles at well-known organizations, including StreetLight Data, Teletrac Navman, Honeywell, Magellan, Trimble, and John Deere. He holds a Master's degree in engineering from Ohio University.

PlanHub is a cloud software platform dedicated to streamlining all facets of preconstruction.
