Sanskrit chants and a festive welcome by the Indian diaspora in Brazil welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival in Rio de Janeiro on Monday as part of a five-day tri-nation tour.
Indian community members thronged the arrival area and greeted him with Indian flags, vibrant paintings, and memorabilia.
