According to the latest TIMES NOW-ETG Research Survey, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to secure a landslide victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, potentially capturing over 370 seats across the country.

The survey forecasts seat allocations for various political parties in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, with a total of 543 seats up for grabs. According to the projections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to secure between 329 and 359 seats, followed by the Congress with an estimated 27 to 47 seats.

Other significant players include the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) with 21 to 22 seats, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) with 24 to 28 seats, and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) with 17 to 21 seats. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is anticipated to secure between 10 and 12 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may clinch 5 to 7 seats. The survey also suggests that smaller parties and independents could secure between 72 and 92 seats collectively.

A previous survey conducted by Times Now - ETG Research in February had indicated a potential third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A significant 91 percent of respondents believed that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would secure the majority in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

According to the earlier Times Now-ETG Research survey, 45 percent of respondents expressed belief that the BJP-led NDA would secure over 300 seats, while more than 14 percent were of the opinion that the ruling alliance would attain over 400 seats.

The survey showed 64 percent of respondents believe that Narendra Modi will return as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. Meanwhile, 17 percent of voters think Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be the next Prime Minister, while 19 percent believe that someone else will assume the role.

The 2024 Lok Sabha Elections are set to occur in seven phases, commencing on Apr. 19 and concluding on Jun. 1, with the vote counting scheduled for Jun. 4.
