Pranav Arora named in USAs top emerging entrepreneurs in 2023
Beyond his business pursuits, Arora is a dedicated philanthropist with a passion for supporting various causes

USA Today has unveiled its annual list of Top 10 Emerging Entrepreneurs, and Pranav Arora, a serial entrepreneur of Indian origin, has earned a spot on the prestigious list for 2023.
The list celebrates emerging entrepreneurs who are leaving a mark through their innovative approaches, leadership qualities, and notable business achievements.
Having been raised in an environment steeped in entrepreneurship, Arora observed his parents' endeavors in building their own companies. Currently serving as the CEO and board member of JMTD Holdings, a private equity firm, he plays a pivotal role in assisting early-stage businesses by crafting funding strategies and expanding their client base.
"It's an incredible honor to be recognized among such an esteemed group of entrepreneurs. I'm passionate about helping visionary founders achieve their dreams of building impactful businesses. This award is a testament to the hard work of all the entrepreneurs I've had the privilege of collaborating with over the years,” he said.
Under Arora's leadership, JMTD Holdings has made strategic investments in more than 20 seed and Series A startups spanning diverse sectors such as medical, ecommerce, and fintech. He adopts a hands-on approach to managing JMTD's portfolio companies, actively assisting founders in refining their business models, establishing strategic partnerships, and securing subsequent rounds of funding, the company said in a statement.
Notably, many startups advised by Arora have achieved notable success by securing substantial Series B and C funding from top-tier venture capital firms.
In the official announcement, USA Today commended Arora for his "vision, passion, and leadership skills," recognizing these qualities as instrumental in enabling him to attain "extraordinary success and impact" at a young age.
In addition to his leadership roles at JMTD Holdings and Just Funky, Arora is the founder of Stunned Mind, an ecommerce company affiliated with Just Funky. He is also engaged in various other ventures, including Deciph-AR and NFT Merch, both of which are augmented reality companies. Furthermore, Arora holds partnership positions in ILG Property Investors and PSSR Holdings, showcasing his diverse involvement in different business domains. His background includes prior experience as a founder and salesperson in various enterprises.
Beyond his business pursuits, Arora is a dedicated philanthropist with a passion for supporting various causes, particularly those related to education and aiding children in need. He holds the position of chairman at The Arora Foundation and serves as vice president and chairman of The Just Funky Foundation, both organizations dedicated to advancing educational opportunities in underprivileged communities.
