Rajasthan’s Global Investment Summit a “visionary move” says Prem Bhandari

Prominent US-based Rajasthani community leader Prem Bhandari lauded the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024, scheduled to be held from Dec. 9 to 11 in Jaipur as a “visionary move” by the state government to establish Rajasthan as a premier destination for investment and economic innovation.
Bhandhari, who serves as the president of Rajasthan association of North America, a prominent Rajasthani organization in New York, said that while earlier events of similar nature often produced limited results, this initiative stands apart due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s active involvement.
“PM Modi’s global stature and commitment ensure this summit will inspire trust among international investors,” he remarked. Bhandari highlighted Rajasthan’s strengths, particularly in solar energy, mining, and textiles, with established hubs in Bhilwara, Pali, and Jodhpur. He emphasized the state’s potential to align with Modi’s vision of Indiaas a developed nation by 2047.
The summit will feature discussions led by key state departments, addressing critical areas like renewable energy, mining, textiles, and tourism. Sessions will also explore opportunities in digital transformation, sustainable finance, and agri-business innovations.
“This summit can set a new benchmark for Rajasthan’s development,” Bhandari said while also urging the government to focus on dynamic leadership and investor-friendly policies.
