Ramana Reddy named to Oregon Workforce and Talent Development Board

Oregon Governor Tina Kotek has appointed Indian-American software expert Ramana Reddy to the State’s Workforce and Talent Development Board (WTDB).
The WTDB comprises leaders from business, labor, local workforce development boards, community organizations, the Oregon legislature, local government, and state agencies. appointed directly by the Governor. Business representatives hold the majority on the board, ensuring a strong focus on industry needs.
The WTDB serves as the governor’s advisory board on workforce matters, focusing on the development of a strategic plan for Oregon’s Workforce Development System. With a mission to promote equitable prosperity for all Oregonians, the board plays a vital role in guiding workforce initiatives through meaningful work, training, and education, empowering both individuals and employers.
Reddy brings over 25 years of business management experience to his new role. As the president and CEO of EnSoftek since its inception, he has successfully led the company in becoming a leading provider of innovative digital health solutions for health and human services providers, including public, private, and non-profit organizations.
"This prestigious appointment underscores Reddy's commitment to advancing workforce skill development in the technology and healthcare sectors," a press statement from EnSoftek stated.
“I am honored to be appointed to the Workforce and Talent Development Board by our governor," Reddy stated. "I look forward to contributing to the board's efforts to help Oregon's workforce thrive by ensuring access to vital education and training resources."
Reddy earned a Master of Science in computer science from Oregon Health and Science University and a Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering from Michigan Technological University.
