Amazon Prime Video will debut the Telugu-language talk show The Rana Daggubati Show, hosted by Indian actor and producer Rana Daggubati, on Nov. 23.
The show will feature eight episodes, each highlighting candid conversations and engaging activities with prominent figures from Indian cinema. Through unscripted conversations, the show aims to reveal lesser-known facets of the celebrities' lives, showcasing their personal interests, stories, and passions beyond their professional personas.
According to Rana Daggubati, the talk show format has often remained superficial, and he intends to change that. “This is a backstage pass into the real lives of these stars—many of whom are my friends and colleagues. Think chill vibes, no filters, and a whole lot of unexpected moments,” he said.
The guest lineup includes well-known personalities such as Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya, S.S. Rajamouli, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Sree Leela, Nani, and Ram Gopal Varma. The show is produced under Daggubati’s banner, Spirit Media, and will also include unique activities reflecting the hobbies and interests of its guests.
Prime Video’s head of Originals, Nikhil Madhok, said the series is designed to connect fans with their favorite stars on a personal level. He described the show as “an unconventional take on talk shows, exploring engaging conversations and intriguing activities” while offering a fresh perspective on its guests.
Episodes of The Rana Daggubati Show will be released every Saturday, starting Nov. 23, and will be available in India and over 240 countries and territories.
