Dear editor,
Indian boosts spending on job creation, rural areas in first budget after election (issue 23 July) was an interesting read. After resuming office by the NDA led alliance government in their third term submitting the first budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was welcomed with mixed reactions in the Indian Politics.
More emphasis was given for job creations, and rural areas development should be appreciable. On the one hand, I applaud on this two priority areas plus infrastructure continues to be looked after and on the other, the health sector should be looked into at an affordable tariff for people and inflation should be monitored periodically and education sector should be given priority is my take. Over all, it is a development budget.
