SALDEF to host Sikh storytelling event in Chicago

The Sikh American community will highlight inspiring Midwest Sikh stories through panels and performances.

The Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) will host its second annual Sikh Storytelling Event on May. 11, in Chicago. This special gathering is dedicated to amplifying Sikh voices, sharing powerful stories, and celebrating the rich narratives that define the Sikh American experience.

This one-day event will bring together community leaders, artists, entertainers, and creatives for a dynamic program of workshops, panel discussions, performances, and fireside chats. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with and be inspired by the individuals shaping the future of Sikh representation in art, culture, and entertainment.
